Hollywood Cult: In a Hindu way

對這種認真的北蘭片還真是沒有辦法,一定要看的啊。

先quote一些:

New Yorker: After all, they are little more than tourists, and many of their yearnings come to naught, yet Peter’s face, as he leaves the drowned boy’s village, bears a look of acceptance that was unimaginable at the start. The film deserves a subtitle: “How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the East.

Washington Post: "The Darjeeling Limited" isn't deep; its fey humor and obvious metaphors will surely provide ample fodder for Anderson's detractors (and those on the fence).

New York Times: Unstintingly fussy, vain and self-regarding. But it is also a treasure: an odd, flawed, but nonetheless beautifully handmade object as apt to win affection as to provoke annoyance. You might say that it has sentimental value.
